Medical Laboratory Science Major

Medical Laboratory Science majors complete three years of study at the College followed by a fourth clinical year of study in a hospital pro­gram for clinical laboratory science or medical technology. Upon completion of our major, graduates will demonstrate an extensive background in biology and chemistry, and develop the essential laboratory skills needed for accurate collection and analysis of data. Professors will instill the standards necessary for a career in healthcare, and clinical science knowledge and appropriate skills for employment as a clinical laboratory scientist nationwide.
