Our Chemistry major fully prepares students for future work and continued learning. We instruct students in current chemical principles through a rigorous curriculum that takes advantage of the latest and best teaching advances. Students are exposed to the most current laboratory and instrumental techniques, and develop abilities to think critically and to engage in problem solving both in the discipline and life in general.

Faculty Spotlight

‌Keith Peterman, Photo of Keith Peterman (small) sustainability and environmental studies professor, had an article published in the York Daily Record. Peterman debates an article that Steve Goreham wrote about the changing climate. Peterman was also mentioned in an article in the York Daily Record on the current helium shortage throughout the country, mainly due to lack of demand in previous years.
