Sport Management majors at York College of Pennsylvania spend their first four semesters gaining hands-on experience through practicums. Only York students have the opportunity to do so in the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center, an award-winning facility that stands out as one of the best on the East Coast. The program offers a broad range of courses to prepare students for a variety of careers and a sequence of elective courses that allows students to specialize in one particular area. York’s signature Sport Management networking event, Professional Day, as well as summer internships and a capstone work experience, put York’s sport management students directly in front of potential employers.
Through many resources, faculty in our program learn of many jobs and internships for students and alumni. We believe that it is important to share this information with you on a regular basis. Check out our job and internship postings.
This is our capstone course that our graduating seniors must take before they can graduate. With a required 450 hours the course goes above and beyond other internships and has resulted in numerous positions for our alumni. Learn more about work experience.
