College-Community Orchestra

The York College-Community Orchestra is comprised of members of the York College student body as well as musicians from the community. Under the direction of Zachary Levi, this ensemble performs twice a year in the Waldner Performing Arts Center (WPAC). The group's repertoire ranges from major symphonic works to lighter classics. The orchestra's December 2011 concert featured, as soloists, the two winners of the inaugural College Concerto Competition: alto saxophonist Nick Lyman and percussionist Jon Mrenna.
