Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers are York College's premier vocal ensemble, performing on campus and throughout the region as ambassadors for the institution. The group is an auditioned choral ensemble of 16-20 members, open to all students at York College. The required audition tests solo proficiency, musical knowledge, and sight-reading skills. The ensemble sings literature from all periods and styles, specializing in a capellaworks from Renaissance madrigals to vocal jazz. The Chamber Singers performed at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C in the spring of 2010.
