Summer Music Camp

The YCP Summer Music Experience is a pre-collegiate enrichment program for students ages 13 and up.  This summer music camp is offered to students from York, PA and surrounding areas.

Our summer music camps offer a local opportunity for advanced musicians to improve their skills, knowledge and enjoyment of music through daily interaction with outstanding resident and guest faculty in a friendly environment and well-appointed setting. All students will be able to participate in master classes, theory and ear-training classes, workshops on topics from practice habits to conquering nerves, chamber ensembles and optional private lessons. There will be select electives to choose from as well as recreational activities.

New for 2014:  Only one week of camp will be offered from July 7th - 11th,  for young musicians ages 13 and up.

Remaining the same:  four specialized program tracks to select from.

Auditions will be held at York College on May 24th and June 7th, or you may submit a video audition. Instructions for Video Auditions will be mailed home upon receipt of registration.  Those students will receive their music prior to the camp.
