Marketing Major

Marketing is a dynamic process by which individuals and organizations strive to anticipate and satisfy consumer and business customer needs and wants. In free enterprise, this is accomplished through marketing research, product planning and pricing, promotion and distribution. These marketing mix decisions are made in light of today's and tomorrow's changing environment including the economy, ecology, ethics, technology, culture, lifestyle, the global market and competition. Our marketing majors develop an understanding of the concepts, functions and institutions of marketing, an appreciation of consumer orientation, insight into the business-to-business market and the ability to analyze marketing problems and formulate marketing policies.
