Student Scholars Week Abstract Submission Form

Please read the following instructions before submitting an abstract:

 1. You will need to have a faculty member who will sponsor your work. Please have your faculty sponsor read your abstract before submitting it.
 2. Enter this person's name in the Sponsor field of the submission form. You will also have to enter the Faculty Sponsor's email address in the field provided at the top of the form.
 3. Abstracts may be rejected based on grammar and spelling errors.
 4. Please limit abstracts to 250 words or less.
 5. The abstract should completely describe the activity that you are doing as part of scholars week. It does not have to be detailed, but it should contain essential information to convey the nature and scope of what you will present.
 6. Visit the archives to find examples of abstracts submitted in previous years
 7. When you enter the title and authors, please do not format these. There will be a consistent format adopted for all abstracts. You can add special characters using the code below.
 8. When you enter your abstract, you may type only plain text (no special characters). If you need special characters or formatting, you will need to encode like you see in yellow below:

Example: To format a title such as "A Taste of Shakespeare's Hamlet", you should type: A Taste of Shakespeare's Hamlet

IMPORTANT: Please type your text into the boxes directly. DO NOT copy and paste from another document. This is the only way to insure proper formatting of the abstract booklet (when you paste, you may be unaware of characters that are being inserted).
