The Behavioral Sciences Department bestows the award of Departmental Honors every semester. The awards are presented to students who have demonstrated excellence in their academics and in their service to the department, the college and the community. 
- Only graduating seniors are eligible for the award
- Awards will be presented for each major in the department
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Applicants must have devoted 15 or more credit hours within the department
Students who are selected to receive Departmental Awards are recognized at a departmental luncheon held at the end of final exam week. Students are also recognized for this award in the commencement program.
Any graduating senior in a major within the Behavioral Sciences who meets the criteria may fill out the online electronic form. To do so, click here. Recipients are selected by the faculty within their respective majors by criteria established by each major.
