In the fall of 2008, York College was thrilled to celebrate the opening of the Collegiate Performing Arts Center (CPAC), which includes the 750 seat York Collegiate Theatre, a beautiful, state-of-the-art venue with spectacular acoustics. CPAC will host large ensemble concerts and special events, and it is an exciting addition to what is already a vibrant performing arts scene on campus.
The study of music at York College is enhanced by the facilities at Wolf Hall. This building houses the Divisions of Music, Art, and Communication and has become the center for artistic activity on campus. At the heart of Wolf Hall is DeMeester Recital Hall, which hosts the majority of campus performances. With seating for over 200 and outstanding acoustics, DeMeester is the ideal venue for performances and special presentations by music students, faculty, and guest artists.
