Declaring/Changing Your Academic Major

Students who wish to declare or change their major must complete a Change in Student Record form in the Academic Advising Office, located in room 23 of the Miller Administration building.  Once a student declares or changes his/her major, the Academic Advising Office will assign a new academic advisor in the student's chosen major.

Several of the academic majors have restricted access; therefore, a student must obtain a signature from the appropriate faculty member in order to be admitted into the restricted program.  Below is a list of restricted majors and the person to contact for information.  Students interested in any of these majors should obtain  a Change in Student Record form in the Academic Advising Office to take to the appropriate faculty member for information and/or a signature for admission into the program.
