Help For Evaluating Long Term Care OptionsThe thought of relying on others for you or your family's well being is not always pleasant. Even more troubling is when you lose control over the type of care you want and need. Long-term care is becoming a complex social and economic issue in the U.S. Most people don't plan for long-term care because they don't realize the devastating effects it can have on a family. Whether you're a parent or a child, this course will show you what you need to know when evaluating long-term care options.
In this course, we will discuss the following concerns of our society regarding long term care:
- We don't want to burden our families
- We want to maintain control over our lives
- We want to preserve our assets or protect our inheritances
Specifically, we will address:
- Levels of care
- Long-term care costs
- Sources of funding

The instructors for this course are L. Terry Lazarus, CFP, and Brad D. Stein, CFP, who are Certified Financial Planner practitioners from York-based Capital Financial Planning Corp., a Registered Investment Advisor. Mr. Lazarus and Mr. Stein are also licensed in the areas of investment securities and insurance. This is a generic, noncommercial presentation.
