How to Write and Publish a Novel 

Taking the First Step

Have you ever thought about awriting a book, but weren't sure how to go about it, or what to do with it when your were finished?  This eight week course will give you the tools and know-how to successfully complete a novel and submit it for professional publication. The course is divided into two units exploring all aspects of writing and publication.  The first four sessions will cover the fundamentals of writing.  The second four sessions will cover all aspects involved in finding a publisher and successfully selling your finished novel.

  • Turning your idea into a book

Inetermediate

  • Proper manuscript formatting

Advanced   

  • Submitting, marketing & promotion

In this course you will learn how to:

  • Pull your thoughts together for the purpose of writing
  • Create the time
  • Learn to stay focused
  • Develop your character, plot , pace and more
  • Learn to write a query letter
  • Select a publisher
  • Negiotating a contract
