The Chorale is York College's largest choral ensemble. Composed of dedicated singers, the members maintain a rigorous weekly rehearsal schedule. Half of the students in Chorale are music department majors or minors, while the other half represent various other majors on campus. Their versatile repertoire includes pieces ranging from the great classics to contemporary folksong settings, and often includes joint performances with the orchestra. The Chorale performs on and off campus and is open to all students with a serious interest in choral music.

The YCP Chamber Singers - Conductor, Dr. Grace Muzzo, gmuzzo@ycp.edu

The required audition tests solo proficiency, musical knowledge and sight-reading skills. The Chamber Singers are the college's premiere ensemble, performing on campus and throughout the region as ambassadors for the institution. The spring of 2004 brought a memorable opportunity to sing at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The ensemble sings literature from all periods and styles, specializing in a capella works fro the Renaissance madrigals to vocal jazz.
