Better business education begins with strong ties to the business community. Working with major corporations in the region, such as York International, Harley-Davidson, Glatfelter Paper and Graham Packaging, York College has built essential relationships with these companies to bond academic substance with real-world experience. Bridging campus and community brings tremendous advantages and vast resources while you are a student and also when you're seeking your first job after earning your degree.

The Department of Business is accredited by the Association of Colleges and Business School Programs and enrolls more students on the York College campus than any other program, has the most full-time faculty, and the largest number of majors offered. Our MBA Program is well-known among the region's working professional for it's content, relevance and convenience. We sponsor a very successful Internship Program and provide many opportunities for student involvement and recognition including a nationally-recognized Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team.
Another distinctive opportunity at York College is the Dual Degree Program -- otherwise known as the "BS/MBA in 5" Program. High-achieving and motivated undergraduate students admitted to this program begin work on their MBA in their senior undergraduate year, and complete the remainder of their graduate degree in the fifth year. The Dual Degree Program is open to students of all majors, including those in other academic departments, as long as they meet the entrance requirements.
