Academic Advising

Back-On-Track Program

Back-On-Track is a program designed to assist students who have been placed on Academic Probation or Academic Restriction.  The overall goal of Back-On-Track is to assist the student with the development of a specific plan to restore their good academic standing and avoid specific challenges that may undermine their success.

All Back-On-Track students are assigned a mentor who assists the student in creating an appropriate academic plan and setting specific goals.  The mentor also meets regularly with each Back-On-Track student to evaluate their progress and recommend support services as needed.  The Back-On-Track mentor does not replace the student's Academic Advisor in their chosen major, rather the two provide unique and valuable assistance to the student.

The Back-On-Track program is administered through the Academic Advising Center located in Campbell Hall, Room 200, (717) 815-6487.
