Network Account Policies

Network Accounts are for CURRENT students and faculty/staff ONLY.

All accounts expire after the user has NOT registered to take or instruct classes for one or more semesters (this includes alumni). This includes the network account (H: drive where files are stored) and the YCP webmail account.  This information concerning this deletion is so that individuals can make plans to transfer all documents and to set up alternate webmail accounts. 

York College will delete student network accounts and e-mail accounts within one semester of either graduation of not having any classes scheduled. The following schedule will determine when student network accounts are deleted: 

May graduates and August graduates - account deletion on February 1 of the following year.

December graduates - account deletion on June 1 of the following year.
