Presidential Academic Scholarship
$26,000 Scholarship over four years - $6,500 awarded annually as a full-time student living on campus
$18,000 Scholarship over four years - $4,500 awarded annually as a full-time student commuting from home
Scholarship award is for eight full-time semesters, excluding summers

Eligible students are first-time, full-time students who graduated in the upper two-fifths of their high school class and have an SAT score of 1250 (Critical Reading and Math) or higher or a composite ACT score of 28 (optional writing test required) or higher.

For those applicants graduating from a high school which does not rank students, the Admissions Office will determine eligibility based on academic record.

Minimum grade point average of 3.00 is required to renew the scholarship each year for up to four years. One-half of the scholarship will be awarded annually to those maintaining a grade point average of 2.75 to 2.99.

Dean's Academic Scholarship

$10,000 Scholarship over four years - $2,500 awarded annually as a full-time student commuting from home

York College of Pennsylvania Grant-In-Aid
Grants vary from $100-$7,000 annually

Awards based on a variety of criteria, i.e., major, financial need, place of residence, academic average, etc.

Must complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Grant amounts may vary by individual scholarship fund.

Most funds require a minimum GPA of 2.0. Some may require a higher GPA (ie 2.5).

Transfer Merit Scholarship
$2,000 scholarship per year - $1,000/semester

Full-time accepted transfer students

Earned GPA of 3.5 or membership in Phi Theta Kappa while enrolled full-time at the most recently attended regionally accredited institution.

A minimum grade point average of 3.00 is required to renew the scholarship each year for up to three years (six full-time semesters, excluding summers). One half of the scholarship will be awarded annually to those maintaining a grade point average of 2.75-2.99.

Adam Kohler Scholarship/Loan
Amount Varies

Awarded to students with a major or minor in music.

Audition required.

Eighty percent of award is grant and twenty percent is interest-free loan repayable after graduation.

Satisfactory progress in the music program is required to renew the award.

Student must have parent employed full-time with Tuition Exchange member institution.
